When you use the QelpCare services, our servers automatically record certain information in server logs. These server logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type and settings, referring / exit pages and URLs, number of clicks, pages viewed, mobile carrier, date and time stamp information and other such information. We don’t store these server logs, they are automatically deleted after the server threshold limit is reached.
When you access the QelpCare services using a mobile device, we collect specific device identifiers to be able to detect what device is being used and what the operating system is. We use this device identifier to serve a better online mobile customer journey (by offering support content directly for the applicable mobile device). We don’t store the device identifier information. We use it once while the browser session lasts.
Sharing features in QelpCare Call Center application
Our agent facing users can use sharing features from our ‘Agent Call Center QelpCare application’. We support sharing by email and sharing by SMS features. The user email address and SMS number are anonymized (truncated and hashed) before they are stored. This anonymized data is being used for tracking purpose to improve our product. This data is being deleted automatically after 6 months.
